Chinese Restaurants

With some of the Chinese restaurants in Alicante boasting menus the size of an old fashioned telephone directory, you can be assured there will be something to suit all tastes. The city has a small Chinatown, as do many cities around the world, and the Chinese restaurants in Alicante range from small noodle or dim sum cafes to the ever popular large ‘all you can eat' buffets that certainly offer good value for your money if you have a large appetite.

Zhong Hua – With a central location on Calle del Medico Pascual Perez, this restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff attentive. Expect large portions at reasonable prices, and a good selection of not so fragrant dishes to suit younger palates.

Restaurante Casa Yong – Bring an appetite with you to this all you can eat buffet restaurant that, along with a great selection of Chinese starters and mains, also offers sushi, Thai and Korean dishes. Located outside the city centre on Calle Hogar Provincial.

Ciudad Imperial – With a great location near the marina on Carrer Gravina, the friendly owners have certainly got things right with a good balance of tasty dishes, attentive service and very reasonable prices. The motto here seems to be, ask and we shall do our best to deliver as nothing seems to be too much trouble and dishes are cooked the way customers want them.

Unik Asiatico Restaurante – Located just a block up from the marina on Calle Alberola Romero, Unik receives rave reviews and is one of those Chinese restaurants in Alicante that keeps you coming back year after year. The Chinese certainly know their customer service and you will always receive a warm welcome at Unik that has comfortable seating and a great special lunch menu that includes a starter, rice, main and a drink for less than 10€.

Xiao Ye Té y Tapas – Centrally located on Calle Pintor Lorenzo Casanova, don't let the rather basic facade of the restaurant fool you as it's all about the food in this Chinese gem. Specialising in Chinese style tapas and dim sum, the menu also offers a good vegetarian choice, and on the other side of the coin, delicious offal dishes such as pig bone soup, spicy pigs ears and pigs tongue.

Restaurant Wok Victoria – An article on Chinese restaurants in Alicante would nor be complete without mentioning the word wok. In Spain Chinese restaurants with wok or buffet in their title are usually all you can eat establishments, very popular with hungry holidaymakers. Located slightly outside the city centre on Carrer d'Ocaño, Wok Victoria offers a superb buffet with a great seafood choice, dim sum, sushi, a good kids selection, and even juicy steaks.
